Rethinking Effectiveness – the Brain Based Approach

We live in a close to limitess world where opportunities are virtually endless. At the same time, the pace is accelerating, competition is intensifying, and those who fail to keep up are being left behind—faster than ever before.

At iManagement, we believe in growing and developing people’s innate ability to lead and organize themselves. We see this as the foundation for building sustainably effective organizations.

We know that sustainably effective companies are made up of people who do their work because they want to create results and make a difference. People who are motivated to contribute to shared goals and solve the real challenges that arise. People who want to grow and consciously adapt to a changing world over the long term. In this kind of environment, wellbeing and performance go hand in hand. Sustainable and effective—plain and simple.

Productivity From busy to balanced

Do you find yourself working more overtime than having time to spare? Productivity is the ability to achieve more with less. In today’s complex world, it’s easy to get caught up in mental clutter of busyness—our own or that of others. To deliver strong results with balanced effort, we need the right conditions, tools, and training.

WHY THIS CAPABILITY MATTERS
The nature of work has fundamentally changed. Today, it’s about achieving outcomes—not simply showing up for a set number of hours. With an overflowing inbox, a buzzing phone, persistent customers, and colleagues constantly seeking your input, it’s easy to lose focus, get interrupted, and fall into procrastination. The workday stretches longer. To-do lists grow. Mistakes repeat themselves.

At high speed, with a constant stream of urgent tasks, we lose the time and energy needed for reflection, learning, and growth. Reaching results requires more and more effort. That’s why more and more people are seeking a proven work methodology—one with a thoughtful structure that creates clarity and helps us take control of our days. When we reduce inefficiencis, results come more easily—and we free up both time and energy.

HOW TO DEVELOP
Through Workflow, we provide you with a simple, brain-based approach to working. You’ll learn how to use your existing tools—your email client, smartphone, and, most importantly, your brain—in a more productive way. We offer practical strategies for sharper focus, clearer structure, smarter information handling, and more effective communication. Combined with solid habits for prioritization and planning, we help lay the foundation for truly effective work. You’ll naturally get more done—and reduced stress comes as a welcome bonus.

Motivation From drained to fully charged

Is your performance being held back by frustration, unclear goals, or unrealistic expectations? Motivation is the ability to focus on a goal and harness your inner drive to reach it. People who know how to motivate themselves get more done—and feel better doing it.

WHY THIS SKILL MATTERS
When we’re micromanaged or lack clear goals, motivation quickly fades. Frustration grows, and fear of making mistakes takes over. We cling to old routines instead of exploring new ways to reach results. But when we’re given the freedom to make our own decisions, we feel empowered and proud to take responsibility for our work. As we grow and strengthen our competence, our drive increases even further. Those who find meaning and direction in their work are more likely to stay motivated—even when facing less enjoyable tasks. Increased motivation reduces wasted time and energy. We free up valuable resources and set ourselves up for long-term success.

HOW TO DEVELOP
Through Drive, we help individuals identify what truly motivates them—based on both their personality and their role. We focus on external motivators: clarifying purpose, setting goals, and creating actionable plans. We also work with internal motivators: helping individuals and teams understand how to leverage their strengths and manage their challenges, all rooted in competence and self-leadership. Because motivation is highly individual, our training is personalized—using assessments and practical exercises based on reflection and feedback.

Creativity FROM BLOCKED TO BREAKTHROUGHS

Do you often find yourself stuck instead of moving toward solutions? Creativity is the ability to solve problems. Finding new paths and seeing things from a different perspective is not only rewarding - it opens up opportunities you didn’t even know existed.

WHY THIS SKILL MATTERS
In today’s competitive world, we’re increasingly faced with new and complex challenges. There’s no guarantee that yesterday’s solutions will work tomorrow. So what happens when we try to solve today’s problems with outdated approaches? We risk detours that waste valuable time and resources.

The ability to approach new situations in a constructive, creative, way can be the difference between progress and falling behind.Thinking differently, tapping into new resources, or simply doing things another way may be exactly what sets you apart.

HOW TO DEVELOP
The brain has limited energy for high-level thinking. That’s why we train you to use it more effectively and with greater focus. In the first step, we introduce methods to reduce cognitive load and stimulate the brain’s natural creative capacity. In the second step, we focus on structured problem-solving: breaking down challenges into manageable parts, identifying what needs to be done, in what order, and how to get started. Creativity is the ability to solve problems. Finding new paths and seeing things from a different perspective is not only rewarding—it opens up opportunities you didn’t even know existed.

Adaptivity FROM OUTDATED TO UPDATED

Do you often feel left behind rather than up to speed? Adaptability—the ability to adjust—has never been more essential than it is today. Ever since Darwin described the importance of adapting to survive, the pace of change has only increased. As the world shifts rapidly, established truths and proven methods are constantly being challenged. Your ability to navigate change will define the future—for both you and your organization.

WHY THIS SKILL MATTERS
Today, the shelf life of our knowledge, products, and competitive advantages is shorter than ever. When everything is moving fast, it’s hard to step back and recognize the need for change.Looking back, it’s easy to joke about Nokia, Kodak, or Facit—but how do you make sure you’re on the right path when the map keeps changing? Creating space for learning, curiosity, and innovation is absolutely critical. With a stronger adaptive capacity, change becomes a path to development—rather than decline.

HOW TO DEVELOP
In a world of constant change and endless updates, adaptability is about maintaining focus on a moving target. Through our programs, we train your ability to understand the impact of external changes, act on the right priorities based on those changes and translate insight into actionable plans—at the individual, team, and organizational level. We help you challenge old habits and make space for new ones—habits that build flexibility and create a clear, conscious direction toward your goals.

What we believe

At iManagement, we stand for self-leadership. Like many others, we began our careers with high energy and big ambitions. After years of education, it was finally time to make it all happen. We invested significant time and effort into achieving our goals. And while we did reach them, the process became increasingly stressful. The results came—but at a high cost. It became clear that we were wasting more than we realized. At the same time, the things we had sacrificed along the way were becoming more important.

That’s when we discovered time management. The idea of mastering our time was inspiring. Control and structure, we thought, would bring the outcomes we expected. And yes, the results improved - but so did the frustration. Even with our new systems in place, things didn’t turn out the way we had hoped.

Our message about self-leadership is grounded in our own lived experience. We’ve come to understand that the solution is not about pushing harder or trying to control time or our environment. Time passes anyway, and the world around us is often beyond our control.

What we can do is strengthen our ability to lead ourselves-by taking responsibility for our situation and our mission. By doing the best we can with what we have, with a long-term, sustainable mindset. That’s when joy, creativity, and real results begin to emerge.
